Edinburg, NY – 5 October 2026 – Congressional candidate Anthony Constantino today held a press conference calling on the New York State Police and the Department of Environmental Conservation to immediately investigate Blake Gendebien's Twin Mill Farm. His call follows a sworn statement filed with the State Police alleging that Gendebien directed farm workers to dump dead cattle and other garbage into a wooded creek area behind his property.
The supporting deposition was filed with the New York State Police on October 1, 2026 by investigator Nathan Couture of Brooks Investigations. It relays the account of a confidential witness who worked at Twin Mill Farm. According to the statement, the witness says Gendebien regularly dumped garbage including dead cows onto his land illegally to avoid paying proper waste disposal fees.
The witness's account is backed by aerial evidence. In late July, investigators conducted a drone survey of the wooded area and creek. The aerial images show a dumpsite containing nearly two basketball courts worth of illegally disposed of garbage including tires thrown into the water.
A waste removal service estimates it will cost $200,000 to clean up Gendebien's dump site which they believe may contain hazardous waste. Anthony Constantino called on Gendebien to immediately pay to clean up his dump site, demanding that Governor Hochul personally foot the bill if Blake doesn't.
“If Blake won't care for his land, we can't trust him to care for us,” said Constantino who called Gendebien a rule breaker with an abusive temperament. “It’s shameful that Gendebien would run for Congress knowing he brazenly pollutes the land. I suspect Kathy Hochul knows he did this and demand she go on record stating if she still supports him.”
Constantino also called for an investigation by state police and the DEC.
