Gendebien to fundraise in NYC with senior Hochul advisor and far-left extremists who support reducing penalties on murder, extending sanctuary policies, trans-surgeries for kids, mandatory anti-Trump education in public schools, higher taxes, cash bail bans, and solitary confinement bans
Edinburg, NY – 8 October 2026 – Blake Gendebien left NY-21 to fundraise with the most radical politicians in New York City, where he previously bailed an illegal alien criminal out of jail to visit for vacation, while claiming he is too busy to debate Constantino.
His host is Brooklyn Assemblymember Bobby Carroll, who was arrested for illegally protesting and obstructing federal law enforcement. Carroll sponsored legislation to reduce penalties for murder, wants to abolish life without parole and cap every sentence at 25 years, and wants to end mandatory minimum sentencing. He backed abolishing cash bail and supports the HALT Act’s limits on solitary confinement for violent inmates.
Carroll supports mandatory anti-Trump curriculum in New York public schools, and has worked directly with organizations that do “drag queen story hour” for children. He wants New York to serve as a “sanctuary state” for transgender procedures and wants trans ideology written into the state constitution. He supported expanding Sanctuary State protections for illegal aliens, has supported higher taxes on New Yorkers, a toll on every working commuter, and New York’s maps gerrymandered to erase Republican districts.
Co-hosting the event is Micah Lasher, Kathy Hochul’s former Policy Director; Lasher was the architect of Kathy Hochul’s catastrophic policies which have driven two-million lifelong New Yorkers out of our state, and gotten countless innocent New Yorkers hurt and killed. Kathy Hochul personally attended his victory night party.
Micah Lasher personally traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota at the height of the anti-ICE riots to obstruct federal law enforcement operations. He publicly supported transgender surgeries for children, and told NYC families he would use government resources to assist them if they were unable to get “gender affirming care” from NYC hospitals for their kids. He has promised to file articles of impeachment against President Trump on day-one if he wins his Congressional race.
Another co-host is Andrew Gounardes, who has publicly and unapologetically aligned himself with the Democratic Socialists of America. He has also publicly opposed the NRA.
Also hosting the event is Barbara Kancelbaum, an advisor to the Arcus Foundation, a $300 million operation managed by Democratic megadonor Jon Stryker. Kancelbaum’s clients have poured millions into campaigns to strip religious liberty protections from American law, including grants to “beat back religious exemptions” at the state and federal levels.
Kancelbaum’s clients have bankrolled open-borders extremism, funding illegal-immigrant activist networks that finance legal defense and anti-detention campaigns in immigrant-rights coalitions across the country. Arcus has handed out grants to 27 organizations to train activists to obstruct immigration enforcement and other left-wing causes.
