Lies Blake Gendebien spreads about Anthony Constantino.
Lie
“Buying an election”
Gendebien has repeatedly accused Constantino of “trying to buy an election.”Press-Republican, Sep 18, 2026
Fact
Constantino is spending his own money to defend this seat from far-left radicals. He’s already being outspent by the Gendebien campaign, which is backed by the Chinese solar lobby that’s spending millions to smear Constantino (Press-Republican, Oct 14, 2026).
Constantino is self-funding to be free of all corrupting special-interest influence. He is not accepting contributions from anyone, because his primary goal is to put more money into your pockets.
Lie
Running for Congress to make a buck
Gendebien claims Constantino is in this race to enrich himself.
Fact
Constantino has lost money by running for office, while Blake Gendebien has paid himself $60,000 in campaign funds, including buying himself a car with donor money.
Constantino’s business, Sticker Mule, has endured severe boycotts. He is still self-funding his campaign, and he is giving his entire congressional salary to Sgt. Eddie Ryan, a wounded veteran and early supporter of Anthony Constantino (Fox News, Jun 17, 2026; Daily Gazette).
Lie
“Kill the Police” stickers
Blake Gendebien’s TV ad falsely claims Anthony Constantino’s company sold “Kill the Police” stickers.Daily Gazette, Sep 14, 2026
Fact
Sticker Mule never designed, promoted, or sold those stickers. Constantino’s entry into politics was disavowing violence against President Trump following his attempted assassination. He has consistently fought against political violence and has been the target of many violent threats himself from far-left radicals.
Constantino disavows violence against police, and his company prohibits anyone from selling designs that promote violence. When Sticker Mule first launched Sticker Mule Stores, a platform where anyone can sell stickers, a far-left radical snuck a violence-promoting design onto the platform. It was quickly removed before it received any sales (NNY360, Sep 30, 2026), and Constantino subsequently implemented superintelligence screening to proactively stop radicals from uploading violence-promoting designs.
Constantino is endorsed by the International Union of Police Associations and multiple county sheriffs (see endorsements) because this attack is bogus.
Lie
“Unreasonable demands” for a debate
Gendebien says he wanted to debate in September but Constantino had “unreasonable demands,” including a stadium venue and a demand that a local outlet return $1 million.Spectrum News, Oct 7, 2026
Fact
Constantino has said multiple times that a debate is a privilege for the media to host, since they profit from it, and he agreed to every date offered by CBS6 and Spectrum News (Daily Gazette, Oct 1, 2026; CNHI, Oct 1, 2026). He declined to debate on News13, but so did Blake Gendebien.
Constantino also floated the idea of a debate in a large venue open to the public, because he is a man of the people and wanted to let as many citizens as possible attend. No station agreed, but Constantino still thinks it’s a good idea. It speaks ill of Gendebien’s respect for the people that he would bash a debate open to all citizens.
Gendebien refused every single debate date offered. In total, he refused more than a dozen (Daily Gazette; Daily Gazette, Oct 6, 2026).
Lie
The “coward” remark
Gendebien’s ad says Constantino called a military veteran a “f---ing coward.”Daily Gazette, Sep 14, 2026
Fact
Constantino called Robert Smullen a political coward after Smullen took credit for the capture of Nicolás Maduro. Constantino noted that Smullen deserved no credit for Maduro’s capture because he didn’t support President Trump, whose election led to it. Constantino continues to believe that Maduro’s capture is a highlight of President Trump’s second term.
The January 3 social-media post was about a politician, not a soldier (Daily Gazette). It was never about Smullen’s service. Separately, Constantino praised Smullen’s military service multiple times, including during the CBS6 primary debate and in his victory speech on primary night. Republican primary voters heard both sides and gave Constantino a 60–40 win on June 23 (CBS6 Albany).
Gendebien is reaching back into the GOP primary because he has nothing of his own to say about veterans in NY-21.
Lie
“Constantino is a wannabe rapper”
Gendebien’s ad brands Constantino a “rapper” with a “side career” who would rather make rap videos than do the work.Daily Gazette, Sep 14, 2026
Fact
Anthony Constantino is the founder and CEO of Sticker Mule, which he built here in Upstate New York into a global manufacturer with more than 1,000 employees. He’s also someone who likes learning new things. Constantino taught himself multiple languages and at 40 became a professional boxer. He also enjoys writing, and tested himself by writing, producing, and performing on a patriotic album titled Thank You President Trump that spans several genres, including country, R&B, rap, house, and pop. The album is an example of Constantino pushing himself to learn new things, something he encourages everyone to do.
While making the album, he wrote a song to educate citizens about Zohran Mamdani that he turned into a rap song with help from a friend. Constantino’s goal was to tell people important information about Mamdani: that he is still a citizen of Uganda, that his father wrote a book glorifying suicide bombings, and that his wife also supports terrorism. The song went viral on WorldStarHipHop within hours (HypeFresh, Oct 2025), reaching many citizens who wouldn’t listen to a typical political speech.
Gendebien uses imagery from the music video without ever disclosing the words Constantino says, because the song criticizes his friend Mamdani.
